The aim of the research is to prepare a proposed unit using the electronic discussion board and to study the effect of each of them on the skills of scientific debate among students of the biology division at the college of education. To achieve this goal, to achieve this goal, the experimental approach was used, and a proposed unit in radiobiology was prepared and formulated electronically through the use of the electronic discussion board, as well as the faculty member’s guide to teaching the unit, the worksheets of the students of the biology division, and the argumentation skills test. The research sample consisted of (19) students from the third year of the biology division, faculty of education, Port Said University, under (9) students in the First experimental group, and (10) students in the second experimental group. The search results indicated: 1) The presence of radiobiology concepts does not exceed 10% of the content of the academic courses in the biology teacher preparation program at the college of education. 2) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean ranks of the scores of the first experimental group that studied the proposed radiobiology unit in the pre and post measurement to test the skills of scientific argument in radiobiology issues. 3) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean ranks of the scores of the second experimental group that studied the proposed radiobiology unit using the electronic discussion board in the pre and post measurement to test the skills of scientific argument in radiobiology issues. 4) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first experimental and second experimental groups in the post-measurement of the test of scientific argumentation skills in radiobiology issues. In light of these results, a number of recommendations and proposed research were presented. (Published abstract)
