علاقة جودة الحياة الوظيفية بالاستغراق الوظيفي : دراسة ميدانية على عينة من أساتذة جامعة الوادي
This study aims to know the impact of the quality of life at work on job involvement among teachers of El Oued University. It also aims to identify the effect of gender, academic rank and seniority on the quality of life at work and job involvement. To investigate the hypothesis of the study, the researcher used descriptive analytical method using census survey of the entire study population members, which consisted of 776 male and female professors. The researcher administered a quality of life questionnaire specifically designed for this study and the questionnaire of job involvement (Saadi & Akkar, 2015). Of the 776 distributed questionnaires, the researcher recovered 351 (45.23%). After the application of questionnaires, data were analyzed using SPSS. The study concluded the following results: 1) Correlation coefficient (R2) indicated the strength of variables: all the dimensions of the quality of working life and dimensions of the organizational aspects, the physical and moral working environment, and aspects of motivation in the prediction of job involvement. 2) The study also revealed that there were no differences among the teachers in their assessment of the availability of the quality of life at work according to gender, seniority and academic rank. 3) The study detected that there were no differences among the teachers in their assessment of the level of job involvement in the university according to gender, seniority and academic rank. Based on the findings, a set of recommendations were put in place to serve the purpose of the research and determine the scientific contributions of the research. (Author’s abstract)
