This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a guidance program based on psychological resilience strategies in reducing occupational stress among primary school teachers in Ouargla. The study sample consisted of 160 primary school teachers in Ouargla who were selected randomly. They administered the occupational stress sources scale. After ranking them according to their stress level, the 30 most stressed teachers were selected and divided into two groups of 15 teachers each using the random assignment method. The experimental group received the guidance program, while the control group did not. The study used two instruments to collect data: the Occupational Stress Sources Scale (55 items) and the guidance program. The data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS (version 29) statistical program. After presenting and analyzing the results, the following conclusions were reached: 1) There were statistically significant differences in occupational stress between the pre-test and post-test mean scores of control group, favoring higher stress levels in the posttest. 2) There were statistically significant differences in occupational stress between the pre-test and post-test mean scores of the experimental group, favoring in the post test. 3) There were statistically significant differences in occupational stress between the means of the experimental group and the means of the control group in the post-test in favor of the experimental group. 4) There were statistically significant differences in occupational stress between the means of the experimental group in the post-test and follow-up test in favor of the follow-up test. 5) There were no statistically significant differences in occupational stress between the means of the experimental group in the post-test attributable to the gender variable. 6) There were no statistically significant differences in occupational stress between the means of the experimental group in the post-test attributable to the seniority in teaching variable. 7) There were no statistically significant differences in occupational stress between the means of the experimental group in the post-test attributable to the educational qualification variable.
