The research aimed to explore the relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination among university students. It also aimed to identify differences in both academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination based on gender (male/female), as well as differences in academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination based on specialization (scientific/ literary). The research sample consisted of 589 students, comprising 153 males and 436 females from the Colleges of Education, Science, Arts, Medicine, and Commerce at Arish University. The participants' ages ranged from 18 to 22 years, with an average age of 19.39 years and a standard deviation of 0.92. The research instruments included an Academic Self-Efficacy Scale and an Academic Procrastination Scale, all of which were developed by the researcher. The research findings revealed a statistically significant relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination. There were no statistically significant differences in academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination based on gender(male/female), and no statistically significant differences in academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination based on specialization (scientific / literary).
