The research aimed to identify the impact of using Murder’s strategy in developing reading awareness among primary school students, and the main research sample composed of (74) male and female students, from fourth and fifth grade students, and they were divided into two groups, the first is an experimental group composed of (37) male and female students from Bank Sina Elementary School, and the second is the control group composed of (37) male and female students from Abbas Saleh Elementary School. The reading awareness scale was applied, and the program based on the using Murder’s strategy were also applied. The research has found out that there are statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group and the control group in the post-application on the reading awareness in the favour of the experimental group and statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group in the pre- post application on the reading awareness in the favor of the post- application. There are no statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group in the poth post and follow up measurement on the reading awareness scale. (Published abstract)
