The study aimed to identify the preferred teaching methods and strategies among Islamic studies teachers at the intermediate level and the level of their development among educational supervisors. The researcher used the descriptive approach and the questionnaire to collect information. The study reached several results, the most prominent of which was that the teaching methods included in the tool generally had a "high" preference level. The level of their development among educational supervisors was also moderate. The results of the study also found that the teaching strategies mentioned in the tool were generally "high" preferred by Islamic education teachers at the intermediate level, and their level of development among educational supervisors was "high". One of the most prominent suggestions of the study is to conduct a study to determine the effect of a proposed training program in developing some teaching methods and strategies among male and female Islamic education teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
