The research aims at identifying the nature of action research and its use in the educational field, defining the standards of practical education and the most important professional and managerial competencies necessary for its supervisors. Then, provide a proposed Perspective to use of action research to develop the professional and managerial competencies of practical education supervisors in the faculties of education. To achieve this, the research used the descriptive method in its steps: (Description - Analysis - Interpretation - Prediction), the research consists of three main axes: The first axis presentation of the intellectual basis for action research by determining the beginning of the use of action research - its concept - objectives - importance - characteristics - models - and use in the educational field The second axis dealt with practical education by defining the concept - foundations - importance - objectives - stages - and the standards of practical education of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCAT), as well as the standards of Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), and then the professional and managerial competencies of the supervisors of practical education by determining the beginning of the use of the concept of competencies - and its concept - and the difference between the concept of competency and some other concepts - characteristics - the foundations upon which - and the presentation of professional and managerial competencies. The research ended with the third axis in which a proposed perspective for the use of action research to develop the professional and managerial competencies of the supervisors of practical education faculties of education.
