The study aimed to reveal the file of achievement and its role in developing the performance of teachers in the Directorate of Education of the Southern Shuna District. The study adopted the descriptive survey methodology. The sample size of the study was (566) teachers, and it was applied during the first semester of the school year (2023-2024). The data were collected using a questionnaire prepared for this purpose, and the results showed that there was a high value role for the file of achievement in developing the teacher's performance. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences for the role of the file of achievement in developing the teacher's performance due to the years of experience of the teacher in favor for 0-5 years, and there were no statistically significant differences due to the educational qualification of the teacher. The study recommended that teachers should be sensitized and trained in the preparation of the file of achievement as an important record documenting their achievements. (Published abstract)
