أهمية الوعي المورفولوجي في تطوير المعجم الذهني عند متعلمي السلك الابتدائي من المدرسة المغربية
The field of teaching and learning the lexicon represents an important dimension of language learning; for a reason that may seem simple, which is that there is no language without a lexicon on which it is based. This great importance of the lexicon requires attention to its learning and teaching, and is doubled when we take into account the challenges that the learner faces, which are directly related to the lexicon. In this regard, this research attempts to verify the extent to which morphological awareness contributes to the development of the Arabic mental lexicon among learners, based on a field study conducted in the Moroccan context on a sample of 120 male and female learners from four public educational institutions. The study assumed that the conscious paths of morphological knowledge contribute significantly to the development of the lexicon among learners, with the clear implications that this provides for the processes of linguistic perception and production. The results of the study generally support the idea that systematic teaching of morphological analysis constitutes a promising approach to teaching the lexicon and a theoretical framework for the formation of Curricula activities.
