The study aimed to identify the obstacles facing distance education in the Northern Jordan Valley from the point of view of principals and teachers, and their suggestions for overcoming them. The descriptive correlational Methodology was used for the purposes of the study. The study sample consisted of (60) principals and (300) teachers. They answered the study tool, which consisted of (34) items distributed over four domains, its validity and reliability were confirmed. The results of the study showed that the obstacles facing distance education was medium. As for the order of practicing the fields of study according to their arithmetic averages, it came as follows: (obstacles from the educational content, obstacles from the student, obstacles from technology, obstacles from the teacher), and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of The individuals of the study sample is attributed to the study variables (gender, educational qualification, and years of experience).
