جودة أداء المعلم في التعلم عن بعد : إطار لفهم علاقة مكونات الجودة بنوعية الأداء، دراسة حالات متعددة أثناء جائحة كورونا
This study aimed to explore the components of teacher quality during the Corona pandemic and examine the relationship between these components and teacher performance. The study deduced these quality components from the experiences of teachers in leading countries in education worldwide and successful local teacher experiences in Jordan during the Corona pandemic. It is widely recognized that the quality of education depends on the quality of teachers, and thus, there has been a growing interest in improving their quality. The researchers conducted a qualitative study using a multiple case study approach, focusing on teachers who excelled in distance education during the 2021-2022 school year in Jordan. The study included ten teachers, aiming to understand the dimensions of teacher quality and compare them with the performance standards of teachers in leading countries in the field of distance education. The results revealed three main components of teacher quality, as identified by the teachers involved in the study: subjective components, objective components, and components related to the educational context. It is recommended to adopt the quality standards of teacher performance during the Corona pandemic, as identified in this study, and utilize them as a framework for professional development programs for teachers during crises. Additionally, clear mechanisms should be established to provide training and support for teachers in times of crisis, and efforts should be made to recognize and support exceptional teachers through the media.
