فعالية برنامج تدريبي قائم على نظرية برونر في خفض تباطؤ الايقاع المعرفي وتحسين الانتباه المشترك لدى أطفال ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية البسيطة
The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a training program based on Bruner's theory in reducing Sluggish cognitive tempo and improving joint attention, as well as understanding and interpreting the program's sustained effectiveness for children with mild intellectual disabilities. The study adopted the quasi-experimental method with a two-group design (experimental and control). The primary study sample consisted of 20 children with mild intellectual disabilities, aged between 9 and 12 years, arithmetic mean of (10.5), standard deviation of (1.3) enrolled in the Intellectual Education School in Minia during the academic year 2024/2025. The study employed a set of tools, including the Sluggish cognitive tempo Scale for Children with Mild Intellectual Disabilities (developed by the researcher), the Joint Attention Scale for Children with Mild Intellectual Disabilities (developed by the researcher), and a training program based on Bruner's theory to reduce Sluggish cognitive tempo and improve joint attention (developed by the researcher). The results indicated the effectiveness of the training program based on Bruner's theory in reducing Sluggish cognitive tempo and improving joint attention among children with mild intellectual disabilities. The program's effectiveness persisted during the follow-up period, which lasted for one month after the program's completion. The study provided several recommendations, including utilizing the Bruner based program in schools, centers, and organizations concerned with the development of children with mild intellectual disabilities, and integrating Bruner's principles into learning environments in schools and specialized centers to enrich the educational and learning environments for children with mild intellectual disabilities.
