The study aimed to identify the degree of job satisfaction among teachers of post-basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman. The descriptive analytical method was adopted. The research community consisted of all male and female teachers in the (62) government schools that have grades: tenth, eleventh, and twelfth, working in the Ministry of Education in the General Directorate of Education in the South Al Batinah Governorate, during the first semester and part of The second semester of the academic year: 2019/2020 AD. The research sample reached (453) male and female teachers in post-basic education schools in the South Al Batinah Governorate. The results showed that the level of job satisfaction among post-primary school teachers in the Sultanate of Oman, according to the dimensions of the teacher’s job satisfaction questionnaire, came in first place after the relationship with colleagues dimension, with the highest arithmetic mean of (3.75) and a standard deviation of (0.79). It was followed in second place by the relationship with management dimension, with a mean of (3.54) and a standard deviation of (0.88), followed in third place by the work environment dimension, with a mean of (3.26) and a standard deviation of (0.79), followed by In fourth place was the dimension of the relationship with the local community, with a mean of (2.74) and a standard deviation of (0.90), while in last place was the dimension of job stability, with a mean of (2.67) and a standard deviation of (0.92). The general arithmetic mean for the questionnaire as a whole was (3.19), with an overall standard deviation of (0.68) and a moderate degree in the level of job satisfaction among teachers in post-basic education schools. It also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the estimates of the research sample regarding the level of job satisfaction at Teacher in post-basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman according to the gender variable: male, female, in all dimensions of the study except for the relationship with administration dimension. The statistical differences in them were in favor of the male sample in the relationship with colleague’s dimension, while they were in favor of the female sample in the three dimensions. The following: job stability, work environment, relationship with the local community. There are statistically significant differences in the estimates of the research sample regarding the level of teacher job satisfaction in post-basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman attributed to the academic qualification in the two dimensions: job stability and the relationship with the local community, in favor of the doctorate.
