إتجاهات نحو دمج الطلاب ذوي الهمم في المدارس الحكومية من قبل مدرسين ومعلمين التربية البدنية في محافظة بابل
The aim of this study was to identify the attitudes of physical education teachers and instructors toward the inclusion of students with motor disabilities alongside general students in physical education classes. To this end, a questionnaire was distributed to measure physical education teachers' attitudes toward integrating students with motor disabilities with the general student population in physical education lessons. The questionnaire included four items divided into two domains (academic and psychosocial) to determine teachers' attitudes. The study sample consisted of 120 physical education teachers and instructors from public schools in the Directorate of Education in Babylon, Al-Mahawil District, and Jableh Subdistrict. Thestudy's results, analyzed using means, percentages, standard deviations, t-tests, and one-way ANOVA, indicated that teachers have positive attitudes toward the inclusion of students with disabilities in physical education classes. Additionally, across all research variables (qualifications, years of experience, place of residence, and teaching level), no statistically significant differences were found in the attitudes of physical education teachers and instructors toward the inclusion of students with disabilities. The study recommends the activation of a general policy and systematic approach by all relevant authorities to implement structured programs and plans for the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in mainstream schools. It also emphasizes the need to adapt public schools to provide optimal inclusive educational environments for students and teachers with determination. (Published abstract)
