The research aims reveal the degree to which kindergarten teachers possess digital competencies in the city of Taif. And to identify the differences in the degree to which kindergarten teachers possess digital competencies that are attributed to the following variables: (Years of experience, training courses in the field of digital competencies that teachers have joined) in Taif. The research adopted the descriptive survey method where a questionnaire was prepared and applied to a sample of kindergarten teachers in the city of Taif which numbered (171) teachers. The results of the research reached: The degree of kindergarten teachers' possession of digital competencies in the city of Taif came to a high degree. furthermore, the results also found that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average responses of the sample members about the degree to which kindergarten teachers possessed digital competencies due to the variable years of experience in the total questionnaire, with the exception of the following topics: (Managing and organizing the use of digital technologies, supporting children’s learning and assessment using digital technologies) for the benefit of teachers who have 5 years of experience or more. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average responses of the sample members about the degree to which kindergarten teachers possessed digital competencies due to the variable of training courses in the total number of the questionnaire, and these differences were in favor of the teachers who underwent the training courses. Except for the following topics:(Selecting, creating and sharing digital resources, professional engagement using digital technologies). Based on these results, a set of recommendations were presented the most important of them are: holding more training courses for kindergarten teachers to develop and enhance their digital competencies, and working on creating a license for digital competencies for kindergarten teachers to be approved to practice education and to obtain promotions.
