This study aimed to provide a future vision for distance education in light of big data analysis of certain segments of the virtual community, based on the findings of the study by Al-Mutiri & Al-Saqri (2023) regarding the current state of distance education. Using a descriptive research approach and interviews as a data collection tool, the study outlined a future vision for distance education through a scenario-based approach. Three possible future scenarios were presented: The first assumes the availability of infrastructure, equipment, and a high level of community awareness. The second assumes the availability of infrastructure and equipment but a low level of community awareness. The third assumes a lack of infrastructure and equipment, along with a low level of community awareness. (Published abstract)
