الكمالية العصابية والإخفاق المعرفي لدى طلاب الثانوية العامة
The research aims to reveal the relationship between neurotic perfectionism and Cognitive Failure among high school students. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the correlative descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of (200) high school students enrolled in scientific and literary divisions; from the schools: Martyr Mahmoud Munir Yunis Military Secondary School, Martyr Ibrahim Safa Secondary School, Faqous Secondary School for Girls, and Faqous Experimental Secondary Language School in Faqous City, Sharkia Governorate. Their ages range between (17-19) years, with an average age of (17.5) years. and standard deviation (1.41). The researcher used the following tools: The cognitive failure scale consisting of four dimensions: the dimension of distraction - perception lapses - memory failure - failure of motor employment prepared by (Amal Al-Abaji and Rahma Al-Obaidi, 2019) and its dimensions, and the neurotic perfectionism scale consisting of four dimensions: High standards For performance - the need for approval - sensitivity to criticism - obsessive thoughts prepared (Doaa Ibrahim Saleheen, 2016). The results indicated that there is a statistically significant relationship between neurotic perfectionism in its dimensions and cognitive failure. (Published abstract)
