Additionally, it examined the level of performance of King Abdulaziz University during the pandemic and investigated any differences in perceptions regarding the impact of organizational flexibility on performance based on demographic characteristics (gender, age group, educational level, job title, and experience). The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach and utilized a questionnaire as the data collection tool. The study population consisted of all academic and administrative leaders at King Abdulaziz University, totaling 588 individuals. A simple random sample of 212 leaders was selected. The study yielded several key findings: 1) The availability of organizational flexibility at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah was very high, with a percentage of 87.2%. 2) The performance level of King Abdulaziz University during the COVID-19 pandemic was also very high, reaching 87%. 3) There was a significant impact of three dimensions of organizational flexibility (structural, strategic, and human resource flexibility) on the university's performance during the pandemic. Human resource flexibility had the most significant impact. 4) No statistically significant differences were found in the relationship between organizational flexibility (across its dimensions) and the university's performance during the pandemic based on demographic characteristics. The study recommends maintaining the university's existing level of organizational flexibility and continuously enhancing mechanisms that contribute to organizational flexibility. This will ensure the continuation of the university's successful journey and excellence. (Published abstract)
