The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of an educational program based on an active learning strategy for developing artistic expression skills among middle school students in the State of Kuwait. Art education for middle school students in the art education class, in the light of educational literature and previous studies that dealt with active learning programs and artistic expression skills in art education, then preparing an educational program based on an active learning strategy to develop artistic expression skills, then the basic research experience was applied to a group of The middle school students numbering (60) students, where the control group numbering (60) students was chosen from among the seventh grade students at Al-Zahraa Intermediate School for Girls. The first of the academic year 2021-2022 AD, and the research concluded that there is a practical indication for the application of the educational program based on the active learning strategy, as well as the effectiveness of the educational program based on the active learning strategy in developing the skills of artistic expression among middle school students. Teaching the art education course in the different stages of education, and training female teachers to use the active learning strategy in developing the various skills required to learn the art education course.
