This study examined the topic of the role of development and training sciences in society and its impact on the behavior of the individual. Learn about the objectives of development and training at the level of the individual, institutions and society, and know the impact of development and training on changing the behavior of the individual. Study methodology: The research relied on the sample social survey method, by applying the field study to a random sample of 300 employees working in the universities of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It relied on the questionnaire tool to obtain the required data. To analyze the data, the researcher used a number of statistical transactions, namely: Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to analyze the study data and draw conclusions. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: 1) Development and training have an important role in societies where human development plays an important role in the success and progress of society and the institutions in it, as it helps improve production and ensure its continuity without being exposed to the problem of failure and bankruptcy, and with the great development that is taking place in the world, human development has a positive impact on people and youth in general. 2) The field of education and training is one of the most important areas that human resource development programs have focused on, given its importance in acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities to improve the level of efficiency, create trends and modify organizational behavior. 3) Institutions achieve their goals through training and development for their employees, in order to achieve a competitive advantage among community institutions, improve their production and achieve quality in performance. 4) Training has a great impact in evaluating and modifying the behavioral trends of individuals through their sense of stability and success, and getting rid of stress and anxiety. Discipline also achieves the interaction of the individual in the work environment with the group. Through these results, the study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which is the interest and focus of institutions in general and educational institutions in particular on the process of continuous training with the aim of developing human resources, which will.
