The research aimed at recognizing the effect of using interactive white board to develop some programming skills by visual basic.net for preparatory stage. The research tools (knowledge test, observing sheet) were applied on a sample among third-grade preparatory pupil's year pupils (60) divided into two equal groups one of them is an experimental group (30) pupils and the other group is control (30) pupils. A proposed module of five educational modules has been produced. Each model includes a set of skills for third-grade preparatory students, it included five key skills and 36 sub-skills. The results indicated that there are differences between experimental and control group pupils to ≤ (0.05) in the practical side of programming skills in favor to experimental group, and between the mean scores of experimental group pupils in the pre and post administration of the knowledge test for the post application. Some recommendations and suggestion were provided. (Published abstract)
