The aim of the study was to identify the effectiveness of a training program to reduce the fears of a sample of middle school children aged 6-9 years. The aim was to identify the differences in the level of satisfactory concerns in the study sample before and after the proposed program. The study sample consisted of 10 students (5 males and 5 females) who were selected from the study population of 28 (19 students and 9 students). The researchers used the experimental approach (semi-experimental design / tribal and remote measurements). The school phobia scale, the diagnostic interview and the proposed behavioral-cognitive therapy program were used as study tools. The researchers used statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS) to analyze the study data. The results of the study were as follows: 1) There is an effectiveness of the pilot program to reduce the fears of patients in a sample of children in middle childhood aged 6-9 years. 2) There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) and less in the level of disease fears between the experimental group and the control group in the post-test for the experimental group. 3) There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.005) or less on the post-test of the proposed extension program and follow-up test for the experimental group. The study included several recommendations, the most important of which are: The need for the application of psychological therapy programs, especially cognitive behavioral therapy to identify the causes of fear of the sick and childhood disorders in general and to address the symptoms and disposal, in order to ensure healthy psychological growth.
