كراهية الذات والآخر وعلاقتها بالميول الانتحارية لدى المراهقين : بحث ميداني
The researcher aimed in his research to identify the level and significance of the differences in self-hate and the other, self-hate, and hate of the other, and suicidal tendencies, and the correlation between these scales among (240) male and female adolescents student in preparatory and schools in the city center of Erbil. According to the variables such as: gender (male, Female), specialization (scientific, literary), age (16 years, 17 years old), region (popularity, unpopularity). The importance of the research in the fact is that psychologists and psychological literature point out that frustration and feelings of psychological pain, sadness and humiliation support negative perception and thinking and lead to hatred and aggression in the individual towards himself or towards the other, and that the beginnings of tendencies appear in the late childhood stage but are evident and determined in adolescence accompanying mental development achieved by adolescents, the tendency is a feeling that accompanies the individual's attention and interest in a subject, and many adolescents feel a lack of reinforcements and proper guidance in their lives. The problem of the research is that the researcher, due to his psychological educational activities in secondary schools, felt and realized that there were indications of self-hate and hatred of the other among a number of adolescents in secondary schools. Therefore, the researcher attempts to reveal the level of indicators of the prevalence of self-hate, hatred of the other, and suicidal tendencies among adolescents of students according to some variables. The researcher relied on two dimensions (self- hate) and (hatred of the other) from the (self-hate and other) scale (prepared by Choucair and Hakami, 2016), and on the scale of suicidal tendencies (prepared by Jubouri and Sultani, 2013). After adapting it to the current sample. The validity and reliability of the two measures were checked. Their apparent honesty value for the scale of (self- hate and the other) was (87.5%), and the apparent honesty value for the scale of suicidal tendencies was (81.25%). The value of the stability factor for the retest method for the measure of (self-hate and the other) is (0.77), and for the scale of suicidal tendencies is (0.80). And after applying the two scales together on the research sample and data processing using (Spss). Results showed: 1) The presence of indicators of the spread of self-hate, hatred of others and suicidal tendencies among adolescents. 2) Statistically significant indicators of different levels of self-hate by gender and in favor of males, that is males are more hatred of themselves, unlike females who are more hatred of others. 3) The difference in suicidal tendencies is statistically non-significant according to gender. 4) The difference in self-hate, hate of the other, and suicidal tendencies are statistically non-significant depending on age and specialization. 5) There are more indicators of the spread of self- hate. hatred of the other, and suicidal tendencies in the unpopular region than indicators of the level of prevalence in the popularity region. 6) And the result shows a positive correlation between the scale of suicidal tendencies with both self-hate and hatred of the other. And in the light of the results researchers presented some recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
