The aim of the research is to reach the effect of the interaction of academic motivation (internal/ external) with the pattern of probing questions (focus/ explanatory) in the electronic lecture on the achievement of students of the Higher Institutes for managerial Sciences. To achieve the research objective, the electronic lecture based on the pattern of probing questions (focus/ explanatory) was designed and produced. The research experiment was conducted on a sample of third-level students in the Marketing Department consisting of (120) male and female students at the Giza Higher Institute for Managerial Sciences. The research sample was distributed according to the academic motivation scale (internal/ external). The research results concluded that there is a basic effect due to the difference in the pattern of probing questions (focus/ explanatory) in the electronic lecture For the benefit of students of clarifying questions, and there is no basic effect due to the difference in the pattern of academic motivation (internal/ external), as there is no difference in the averages of students' scores in the post-application of the achievement test due to the basic effect of the difference in the pattern of academic motivation (internal versus external). There is no interaction between the pattern of probing questions (focus/ clarification) in the e-lecture and the pattern of academic motivation (internal/ external). (Published abstract)
