The research aimed to explore experts' perceptions of an AIbased instant conversation program (Chat-Bot) for teaching Arabic as a second language. To achieve this goal, the research adopted an analytical descriptive approach. A purposive sample of (23) experts in Arabic language, artificial intelligence and computer linguistics was selected to apply the research to apply the data collection questionnaire. The most important results show that: The research sample showed a high degree of agreement on the reality of using intelligent instant conversation programs in teaching Arabic as a second language, with an arithmetic mean of (3.47), a very high degree of agreement on the list of criteria for developing an AIbased instant conversation program for teaching Arabic as a second language, with an arithmetic mean of (4.21), the sample showed a very high degree of agreement on the list of requirements for developing an AI-based instant conversation program for teaching Arabic as a second language, with an arithmetic mean of (4.42), and the results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) in the attitudes of the research sample towards the AI-based instant conversation program for teaching Arabic as a second language attributed to the variables of gender, specialization, academic rank, and years of experience. In light of these results, the research recommended the necessity of expanding the use of intelligent instant messaging programs in Arabic language teaching centers for second language learners.
