This study aims to identify the impact of the intellectual foundations of learning organizations on performance in secondary schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It also aims to demonstrate the type and strength of the relationship between the effectiveness of professional development for teachers and to verify the credibility of the study tool in order to reach a proposed vision for implementing the ideas of learning organizations. It helps to transfer the educational process in our schools from a teaching mode to a learning mode. Finally, knowing the impact of demographic factors (educational level, experience, in the organization) on the attitudes of the sample members towards the variables of the study. In terms of importance, the current study derives its importance from the importance of the variables investigated, which are the characteristics of learning organizations and their role as a modern intellectual trend in educational administration. Develops the ability of educational institutions to improve and develop their outcomes by adopting the concepts of learning organizations, especially with regard to improving the performance of their teachers. The researcher tried to identify the reality of the professional effectiveness of teachers in secondary schools. In preparation for presenting a proposed vision for the professional development of teachers in light of the intellectual foundations of learning organizations, and finally, in the seventh part of the research, references will be presented. The study followed the quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach through a questionnaire based on benefiting from previous literature and presenting it to the arbitrators for approval. It will also conduct an interview with both principals and teachers with the aim of obtaining information and data that will enrich and guide the study, especially with regard to the reality of professional development in Secondary schools in Medina.
