The study examines the effectiveness of an educational interactive program (Nearpod) in developing critical thinking skills, self-learning skills, and cognitive motivation in a sample of third-grade intermediate female students in Jeddah. In this study a quasi-experimental design of the educational program (Nearpod) was used. A random sample of (26) students were drawn and divided into control and treatment. Three measures were used, critical thinking skills, self-learning skills (both designed by the researcher), and the cognitive motivation scale. In the pre-post analysis of the treatment groups the results indicated statistically significant difference on the average scores on all three measures for post measurement. Also, the regression analysis showed different prediction lines between groups, with a positive trend for the treatment group compared with the control group after controlling for the pre-test measurement on all three variables. This study recommends increasing awareness on the role of online interactive programs in education in developing students' skills, and inviting the Ministry of Education to adapt study plans to conform with time and effort required to apply online interactive programs.
