برنامج مقترح لتوظيف مكونات الكفاية الاتصالية في الأنشطة والتمارين وأثره في تنمية الاستيعاب المفاهيمي لدى الطلاب معلمي اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها

The study aimed to enhance the conceptual understanding of the communicative competence among teachers of Arabic for non-native speakers and how to apply that on classroom activities and exercises, to do so, a program based on applying the communicative competence components on activities and exercises was prepared. The program included the following: First: a list of the four components of communicative competence: grammatical competence, social linguistic competence, discourse competence, and strategic competence. Second: A program based on communicative approach for teachers of Arabic for non-native speakers. Third: post-test to measure the effectiveness of the program. The program was applied to (17) teachers at the Higher Diploma of Arabic for non-native speakers at the Islamic University of Madinah, where the study adhered to the semi-experimental approach through one group. The results showed statistically differences of (α= 0.05) in favor of the post-test, results also showed a variation in the positive ranks of the four basic competencies, reaching (12) in grammatical and strategic proficiency, while discourse proficiency obtained the least positive rank (9). Results are in favor of post-test, which confirms the effectiveness of the program. Based on previous results, the study reinforces the importance of applying aspect of communicative language teaching in teacher preparation and training programs, and highlights the importance of focusing on the mechanisms of employing the communicative competence in the classroom activities and language exercises and providing teachers with lists of communicative competence components and their main skills educational decisions: determining reading levels, identifying students with learning disabilities, and monitoring student performance as they progress or join individualized educational programs.
