The study aimed to present a proposed model to improve the quality of work life in Saudi universities in light of some international experiences. It is a qualitative study whose data was collected from studies and documents related to the quality of work life and international experiences in improving the quality of work life at: Harvard University, University of Florida and Columbia University. The results showed that the dimensions of the quality of work life are: The personal dimension, the functional dimension. The leadership dimension, and the environmental dimension. The study also showed that despite the multiplicity of activities related to improving the quality of work life in international experiences, they generally revolved around meeting the main needs of the employee, as: physical and psychological health, family care, financial matters and professional development.
