The study aimed to identify the relationship between leadership skills and the locus of control among a sample of gifted students in Jeddah (n=95). The descriptive, comparative, correlational approach was used, the leadership skills scale prepared by Louis Roytz, translated by Zuraiqat (2018), and the locus of control scale prepared by Rotter, translated by Kafafi were applied as the study tools. The Results showed that there was a statistically significant correlation between leadership skills and the locus of control in the study sample, and there were a statistically significant differences between the average scores of leadership skills and the locus of control in the study sample attributable to the gender. In addition, the results showed that the level of leadership skills among the gifted students reached (102.24), which indicates high leadership skills, also the level of locus of control was (9.56), which means that they have a belief in the locus of internal control. According to the study result, the researcher recommended the importance of preparing educational and counseling programs to encourage students to develop their leadership skills and provide appropriate opportunities for gifted students for training and practice their skills.
