The study aimed to identify the role of cultural intelligence as a moderator variable of relationships between psychological empowerment and organizational citizenship behavior among women leaders at Saudi universities in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, in addition to identifying the differences in each of cultural intelligence, psychological empowerment and organizational citizenship behavior according to social status, years of experience and leadership position. The study sample consisted of (126) women leaders in Saudi universities in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, they completed the cultural intelligence scale (Ang et al., 2007), the multicultural psychological empowerment scale for Saudi Women (Moubarak et al., 2022), and organizational citizenship behavior scale (Yurcu and Akincy, 2017), as well as a set of demographic questions. The data were processed using Pearson's correlation coefficient test, t-test, analysis of variance and structural equation modeling. Results showed that cultural intelligence had a positive meaningful relation with psychological empowerment, and organizational citizenship behavior, cultural intelligence has a moderator role in the relation between psychological empowerment and organizational citizenship behavior. There are significant differences in cultural intelligence, psychological empowerment, and organizational citizenship behavior according to years of experience. Also, there are no significant differences in cultural intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior according to social status. In the light of the study results, a number of recommendations were presented. (Published abstract)
