The study aimed to identify the role of kindergarten teachers, from their perspectives, in developing life skills for kindergarten children in Taif city. A questionnaire was created and used as a study tool. It focused on five main aspects for the development of life skills: preventive, health, environmental, nutrition, and manual skills. The study sample included (163) kindergarten teachers in Taif and resulted in several prominent results as follows: There is a high degree (with arithmetic mean of 4.61) of teachers' support and approval for the role of kindergarten teachers in developing life skills for kindergarten children. There was also a discrepancy in the arithmetic mean of the responses of the study sample for the role of kindergarten teachers in developing life skills for kindergarten children. In particular, the role of kindergarten teachers in developing both the preventive and health skills among kindergarten children came in the first ranks with an arithmetic mean of (4.72). Meanwhile, the role of kindergarten teachers in developing manual skills for kindergarten children came in the last rank with an arithmetic mean of (4.33). The differences in the responses from the study sample showed no statistically significant differences with a level of significance (0.05) in all aspects of the study according to the variables of the educational level and the teaching experience of the teachers. Considering these results, the study recommended the necessity of including life skills in the kindergarten curriculum, as they have a significant impact on guiding and encouraging the teachers and activating their role in developing the life skills of kindergarten children.
