This research aims to identify the social risks of using the virtual world and its relationship to some variables on the students of Tabuk University. The descriptive correlative approach was used, and for data collection, a scale was prepared that obtained high degrees of validity and reliability, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was (0.961), and Saberman-Brown’s coefficient was (0.919), and it was applied to a stratified random sample of Tabuk University students, which amounted to (1674) male and female students, and after processing the data statistically. The following results were reached: The percentage of young people's awareness of social risks is characterized by a high degree, and there were statistically significant differences in the perception of social risks and some variables of the subjects (gender in favor of females; academic achievement in favor of high academic achievement; specialization in favor of science; family status in favor of very stable; goal In life in favor of religious goals) and variables specific to the means used (the means of communication used for the benefit of Snapchat; the place of use in favor of the place of use at home; the way of interaction in favor of conversations; the reason for use in the interest of entertainment and entertainment; the desire to use for the benefit of politics, the use of profile picture in favor of those who do not use the profile picture), while there were no statistically significant differences in the perception of social risks and some variables of the subjects (school level; economic status) and the variables of the means of use (participation group, real name use, show study data).
