The research seeks to identify: the role of the social worker in protecting the rights of children infected with the Corona virus, in addition to identifying other social roles in protecting the rights of children infected with the Corona virus, and identifying the obstacles facing the social worker in protecting the rights of children infected with the Corona virus, and working on Developing the necessary proposals to mitigate the obstacles facing the social worker in protecting the rights of children infected with the Corona virus, by answering the main question: (“What is the role of the social worker in protecting the rights of children infected with the Corona virus?”, “A field study applied to the basic education stage.” At Ain Zara School District"), this research belongs to the descriptive analytical research style, and therefore; The researcher relied on the sample social survey method, through the questionnaire tool, for a random sample of social workers of both sexes in the Basic Education School in Ain Zara, amounting to (20) social workers, in Ain Zara School, where the females came with a sample number of (12), and the number (8) males, and through the research sample responses, conclusions were drawn and proposals were put forward. Where the results came: It became clear that the role of the social worker in protecting the rights of children infected with the Corona virus, the responses of the research sample came in the first place paragraph No. (11) about (helping sick children with psychological and social support), and in the last paragraph No. (10), about (helping the patient understand matters related to his illness, and educating him). It has also been shown that other social roles are to protect the rights of children infected with the Coronavirus; The responses of the research sample came in the first order, paragraph No. (18) about (not taking the child to any place where there are gatherings during the period of the spread of the disease), and in the last paragraph No. (14), about (reducing confusion between different age groups of children), While the proposals: exchanging field experiences and holding conferences that include specialists through social networks between social workers and their colleagues in the work team, as well as paying attention to providing social support to all members of society and focusing on the most groups, especially children affected by the Corona epidemic.
