درجة تضمن كتب الدراسات الإسلامية لأبعاد المواطنة الرقمية للمرحلة المتوسطة بالمملكة العربية السعودية
The study aimed to identify the degree to which Islamic studies books include the dimensions of digital citizenship for the middle school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive and analytical approach, and the study sample consisted of Islamic studies books for the middle school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the second semester, which numbered three textbooks. The researcher prepared a content analysis card as a tool for the study, and its construction was based on the literature of previous studies. The final form of the card included seventeen items, distributed over four dimensions: digital communication, digital laws, digital rights and responsibilities, and digital health and well-being. The content of the books was analyzed. Based on the criteria of the content analysis card, the results of the study concluded that Islamic studies books included the dimensions of digital citizenship for the intermediate stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where all dimensions came with a weak score. The dimensions of digital laws, health and digital well-being came with only one repetition, and the dimension of digital rights and responsibilities in the books was absent. The three dimensions, digital communications, are the most frequent dimension, with twelve repetitions. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommends the necessity of including Islamic studies course books and the rest of the courses with dimensions of digital citizenship.
