The research aimed at introducing an instructional design model for creating innovative open educational resources, entitled (GHOSHEH Model). In addition, the research aimed at evaluating GHOSHEH model and explores its contribution to assisting learners’ creativity. GHOSHEH Model is defined as a sequence of hierarchical procedures assisting designing instruction that supports students to create innovative open educational resources and to share those resources globally. The model which was developed by researcher and has been published globally (GHOSHEH, Shweiki, and Sartawi, 2022), integrates a set of learner-centered strategies, based on analyzing context, content and learners' needs, then graduated from selecting an open educational resource related to educational content and real life and reflecting the resource, then working in teams to solve a real life problem related to the content and require the development of open educational resources by learners and sharing them globally. To achieve the research’s aims, a sample of teachers was trained to employ GHOSHEH model in teaching students. In addition, the model was presented to educational experts and evaluated by both teachers and experts. The sample includes 151 teachers and experts from Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, Yemen and Egypt. Data was collected from a questionnaire, five focus group interviews of teachers and a case study. Results revealed that the GHOSHEH model contributed to supporting learners' creativity through the development of teachers' professional competencies. (Published abstract)
