This study examined the effect of using VAK strategy on the 5th grade students’ productive skills (speaking and writing) and their attitudes toward it. The participants of the study included 40 students in the English language at Noor Alhaq Basic Mixed School for Girls in Jordan. To achieve the purposes of the study, the researcher used a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected via a questionnaire and pre-post-test. The participants were already divided into two sections by the school administration. However, they were assigned randomly into two groups: The experimental group (20 students) and the control group (20 students). The experimental group was taught using VAK strategy, while the control group was taught to study using the regular instruction. A pre-post-test was administered to both groups in order to find students’ results, while a questionnaire was administered to the experimental group to find students’ attitudes due to the strategy of teaching. Results revealed that: 1) There were statistically significant differences in students' speaking and writing skills, 2) Due to using VAK strategy, students had positive attitudes toward using it in their English speaking and writing lessons.
