The study aimed to identify The Effect of Contract Learning Strategy on Achievement and Attitudes towards Learning Science for Sixth Grade Female Students in Mafraq Governorate. The experimental method with a quasi-experimental design was used. A purposive sample consisting of (48) sixth-grade female students from Manshiyet al-Salata Secondary School affiliated with the Directorate of Education for the Northwestern Badia District in Mafraq Governorate/Jordan was chosen and was applied in the first semester of the academic year 2023/2024. They are divided into two sections, one of which is experimental method with a number of (24) female students who learned the unit (Man and Earth) according to the contract learning strategy, while the other was considered a control unit with a number of (24) female students who taught the same unit according to the experimental method. A test was prepared to measure the achievement of the study individuals, A questionnaire was prepared to measure female students’ attitudes toward learning science, and after verifying its validity and reliability, it was applied to the study individuals before implementing the study to ensure the equality of the two groups of the study, while it was applied after implementing the experiment to measure the degree of achieving the study’s goal. The results of the study showed a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the study members at the significance level (α = 0.05) and in favor of the female students of the experimental group. In light of the results. The study came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: the necessity of employing the contract learning strategy in teaching science because it has a positive impact on achievement and their attitudes towards learning science.
