The study aimed to identify the effect of using a flipped learning strategy on the ability to solve a mathematical problem and attitudes toward mathematics among eighth-grade students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the quasi-experimental approach was used. The study tool consisted of a test to solve the mathematical problem and a measure of attitudes toward mathematics, and its validity was confirmed. And its stability. The study sample consisted of (60) eighth-grade students at Abdul Latif Abdeen Secondary School for Boys affiliated with the Directorate of Education of the Marka District, in the first semester of the year 2023-2024 AD, where the two sections of the study were randomly distributed into two experimental groups consisting of (32) Students who were taught using the flipped learning strategy, And a control group consisting of (28) students who were taught in the usual way. The results showed that: 1) There were statistically significant differences in the ability to solve a mathematical problem at the significance level (α = 0.05) in favor of the experimental group that was taught using the flipped learning strategy. 2) There were statistically significant differences. In attitudes towards mathematics at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in favor of the experimental group that was taught using the flipped learning strategy. (Author’s abstract)
