The study aimed to identify the degree of contribution of social studies teachers in developing the values of social peace among students in the Mafraq Education Directorate, from their point of view, according to the variables (sex, academic qualification, specialization), and the descriptive approach was relied upon, and the study sample consisted of (140) male and female social studies teachers teach, and a questionnaire consisting of (21) items was prepared, distributed to (4) fields, namely: (values of tolerance and reconciliation, values of democracy and freedom of expression, values of love and cooperation, values of acceptance of others). The results of the study showed that: 1) The degree of contribution of social studies teachers in developing the values of social peace among students in the Mafraq Education Directorate was high, where the field of values of tolerance and reconciliation ranked first, then the field of values of love and cooperation, followed by the field of acceptance of the other and in the last place the field of The values of democracy and freedom of expression. 2) There were no statistically significant differences in the estimates of the study sample about the degree of contribution of social studies teachers in developing the values of social peace among students in the Mafraq Education Directorate due to the variables of gender, educational qualification, and specialization. In the light of the results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is: 1) The promotion of social studies teachers to develop the values of social peace among students, 2) Encourage them to develop the values of democracy and freedom of expression among students.
