The research problem is stated in the main following question: “How to build a proposed program in sociology based on the service learning projects to develop problem- solving skills of second year secondary students?” The research tools and materials included a list of service-learning projects, list of problem- solving skills, project-based program, problem- solving skills test, student’s book, and teacher’s guide. The present research used the descriptive method, and the semi experimental method to fulfill what the research aimed at. These tools were applied to a sample consisting of (45) male and female students from the second year of secondary school at “Nour Al-Maaref Secondary School” in New Damietta Management Directorate of education Damietta, in the academic year (2022-2023), class (2/4) was chosen to conduct the research experiment, The results revealed the effectiveness of the a proposed program in sociology based on the service learning projects on developing problem solving skills for students sample search. The research provided some recommendations and suggestions for future research. (Published abstract)
