The aim of the research is to know the effectiveness of a strategy based on psycholinguistics in developing the skills of reading aloud for third-grade students. To achieve this goal, a list of oral reading skills for third-grade students was prepared, and a vision for a strategy based on psycholinguistics was prepared, and then a teacher's guide was prepared for using the existing strategy. On psycholinguistics, and the research tools consisted of testing the skills of reading aloud, the note card of pronunciation, and the expressive performance of third- grade students. These tools were applied to a sample of thirty- nine third-grade students, before and after teaching with the strategy-based Psycholinguistics, and after processing the results statistically, the results of the research concluded that the strategy based on psycholinguistics was effective in developing the skills of reading aloud for the students of the research sample. In light of the results of the research, it is recommended to use psycholinguistic approaches and teaching strategies to develop the skills of reading aloud for first-grade students of the primary stage.
