أثر استخدام استراتيجية خرائط المفاهيم على تحصيل طلاب الصف الثاني الثانوي الأدبي في مبحث العلوم الإسلامية
This study aimed at revealing the effect of using the concept mapping strategy on the achievement of the literary track second-secondary graders in the islamic sciences course. The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach to confirm the hypothesis of the study. The study consisted of educational lesson plans for islamic sciences course as well as an academic achievement test, and the validity and reliability of the instrument were verified. The study was applied to a sample of 53 students from the second secondary literary grade at al-ba’ej secondary school for boys, who were chosen by the intentional method. The sample was then divided into two groups; the first one was a control group consisted of 28 students who were taught using the traditional way, and the second was an experimental group consisted of 25 students who were taught using the concept mapping strategy. The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the development of the academic achievement of the literary track second-secondary graders in the islamic sciences course due to the teaching method (concept mapping strategy) in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including; the need to use the strategy of concept maps in the teaching of islamic sciences courses.
