دور بوابة المستقبل في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى طالبات المرحلة المتوسطة في مقرر العلوم من وجهة نظر معلمات العلوم
The aim of the current research is to reveal the role of the future gate in critical thinking development in science subject using the future gate among for intermediate graders in Hafer Al Baten and contributes to offering a number of recommendations that enhance performance of intermediate science teachers. The researcher used an analytic descriptive approach and the sample consisted of 21 science teachers at intermediate schools where the future gate project is applied. The study result showed that the future gate role to develop digital thinking skills was generally high form science teachers’ point of view for intermediate graders and its arithmetic average was 2.55. The arithmetic averages of digital critical thinking skills were descending lyarranged: deductive (2.75), analysis (2.25) and interpretation (2.66). In addition, result showed that there were no significant statistical differences between the science teachers responses due to the years of experience variable. A number of recommendations were offered in the light of the result of the present study. First, teachers should attend thinking skills courses. Second, students should be provided with smart phones and laptops to use them in their classes. (Published abstract)
