The study aimed to reveal the relationship between extracurricular activities and self-esteem in middle and high school students. Where the study targeted an accessible sample of (54) students during the 2019-2020 college season in light of Corona pandemic procedures, using the descriptive approach and the Cooper-Smith self-esteem scale, And identify the extracurricular activities carried out as part of the study, Statistical analysis of study data using SPSS 24 social science program statistical package was successful; On the existence of a set of clubs at the Cheikh Ammi Saïd Foundation in Ghardaïa which meet the wishes of students in the middle and secondary cycles, The results showed: 1) A statistically significant relationship between extracurricular activities and self-esteem in the same sample. 2) There are no differences in the level of self-esteem of the students due to the type of club field (literary, social, scientific and technical) to which the student belongs.
