This study aimed to identify the need for motivation for administrators working in the Ministry of Education in Gaza, and to reveal the extent to which these administrators need motivation in the light of a number of variables (gender, years of experience)). The study used the descriptive approach, aided by the questionnaire of the need for motivation prepared by the researchers, and the measure of psychological and social adjustment prepared by Mahid Abdel Aziz (2016). The sample of the study was chosen in a stratified random manner from (100) administrators working in the Ministry of Education in Gaza, with a total number of (254) individuals. To analyze the data, the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) program was used, and the results of the study reached several results, namely: The administrators working in the Ministry of Education in Gaza have a statistically significant desire and need for motivation. The level of agreement among administrators working in the field of education in Gaza is medium. The study confirmed that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between the need for motivation for administrators working in the Ministry of Education in Gaza and their psychological adjustment. The study recommended work on rehabilitating and developing workplaces for employees and administrators, providing tools, services, infrastructure, and specifications for the educational environment, in order to ensure the provision of the educational service as best as possible, in order to help achieve a kind of job satisfaction, which may reduce the feeling of boredom with jobs. The study suggested conducting a study to detect the level of mental health among workers in education institutions in the light of some demographic variables. (Published abstract)
