The study aimed to identifying the degree of school principals in Tafila Governorate ‎in Jordan practice adaptive leadership from the point of view of teachers. Methods: The ‎descriptive survey method was used, and the questionnaire was a tool for collecting ‎data. It was applied to a sample of 381male and female teachers, chosen by the ‎stratified method. The results of the study showed that the degree was high. School principals ‎in Tafila Governorate in Jordan practiced adaptive leadership to a high degree. ‎There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance α= .05 ‎between the arithmetic means of the study sample members’ estimates of the degree ‎to which school principals in the Tafila Governorate in Jordan practice adaptive ‎leadership due to the variables of gender, number of years of service, and academic ‎qualification. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommends the ‎necessity of maintaining this level of adaptive leadership among managers.‎ (Published abstract)
