The study aimed to identify the reality of the commitment of school principals in the Northern Mazar District to humanistic leadership skills and their relationship to improving the job performance of teachers. The descriptive, correlational approach was used, and the questionnaire was a tool for collecting data. It was applied to a sample of 383 male and female teachers, who were chosen by a simple random method. The results showed that the arithmetic mean of the degree of school principals’ commitment to humane leadership skills was high, and the domains were in the following order: the domain towards the profession came in the first place, followed by the domain towards co-workers filled the second place, then the domain of towards the students came was ranked third, and finally the domain of parents and the local community was ranked fourth, and the results showed that the arithmetic mean for the level of improvement in teachers’ performance in schools was large, and the domains were ranked according to the following order: the domain of learning environment was ranked first. At a significant level, it was followed by the field of community partnership in second place, at a significant level, and finally the field of (self-development) in third place, at a significant level. The results showed a statistically significant positive correlation between the degree of commitment of school principals in the Northern Mazar District to humanitarian leadership skills and the level of improvement in teachers’ performance. The study recommends raising the degree of commitment of school principals in the Northern Mazar District to humanitarian leadership skills in the areas of the profession, co-workers, students, parents and the local community.
