دور المناهج الدراسية في الكليات العسكرية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري : دراسة تطبيقية على كلية الملك خالد العسكرية
The problem of the study is to answer the following question: What is the effective of the study curriculum in enhancing intellectual security in military academies? Study objectives: In the light of the previous questions, this study aims to: 1) Define the intellectual security. 2) Introduce the reality of intellectual security in military academies. 3) Determine the role of the curriculum in enhancing cadets` intellectual security. 4) Introduce the importance of the intellectual security at the level of the individual and society. 5) Define the obstacles that limit the role of military academy curricula in enhancing cadets` intellectual security. 6) Explain the role of the study curriculum in enhancing the intellectual security of cadets in military academies. 7) A statement of the proposed scenario for developing the effectiveness of the study curriculum in enhancing the intellectual security of cadets in military academies. Study population (Sample): The study population is the personnel of King Khalid Military Academy (KKMA) (representing in the teaching staff and the third level cadets, who has an experience to deal with the terms of the questionnaire, as well as the cadets of the university graduates officers course), whom their total is (679) respondents. The sample of the study is (246). Research methodology and tools: The researcher used the descriptive analytical methodology, the sample social survey, and the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. Main results: The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are the following: 1) Religious extremism is the most important reason for violation intellectual security. 2) There is a direct positive correlation between loss of security in society and intellectual security. 3) An aspect of intellectual security is the satisfaction of the academy with the customs, values and ethics prevailing in society. 4) Most people do not know the meaning of intellectual security. 5) The moderate intellectual prevails among all the respondents. 6) Respondents agree on the effectiveness of the curriculum in enhancing intellectual security as well as academic guidance in military academies. 7) One of the obstacles to the role of curricula in enhancing intellectual security is the lack of knowledge of some teaching staff of the concept of intellectual security. Main recommendations: 1) Deepening the concept of national identity in military academies curricula. 2) Holding courses, conferences and symposia on intellectual security in which the teaching staff of the military academies participate. 3) Emphasizing in the study courses on the culture of the Saudi society its contents and characteristics. 4) Create a special course on intellectual security as a university course.
