درجة الممارسات التسلطية لمديري مدارس المرحلة الثانوية في دولة الكويت من وجهة نظر المعلمين
The aim of this study was to identify the reality of the authoritarian practices of secondary school principals in the educational districts in the State of Kuwait from the point of view of teachers. A questionnaire, the study instrument, Data was collected from a stratified random sample of 553 male and female teachers in secondary schools. The results showed that the degree of authoritarian practices of secondary school principals in the State of Kuwait and its effects on teachers’ motivation towards productivity was medium. Result: That there were statistically significant differences in the means of the study sample members about authoritarian practices that were attributed to gender and nationality variables in favor of Kuwaiti female teachers. In light of the study findings, it came out with several recommendations and suggestions that will assist in improving school administration and leadership in the State of Kuwait. (Published abstract)
